Alan L. Eberle

Shawnee resident Alan L. Eberle, 66, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at his home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in Walker Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Clint Dawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery. Alan was born October 19, 1948 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to LeRoy & Lavada (Rutherford) Eberle. He married Anita Smith in 1987. Alan grew up in Shawnee attending Pleasant Grove School and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1966. He then attended East Central University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1970. Shortly after graduation, Alan went to work for ONG where he worked for 33 years retiring in 2003. Alan enjoyed traveling, particularly to Branson, Missouri, fishing and collecting “Precious Moments”. He is survived by his wife: Anita (Nena) Eberle of the home; parents: LeRoy and Lavada Eberle of Shawnee; and many other relatives and friends.
