Barbara N. Alexander

Shawnee resident Barbara N. Alexander died Sunday, July 19, 2015 at her home. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Tecumseh Cemetery. Barbara Nadine Alexander was born January 3, 1933 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Burl and Maxine (Steele) Case. She graduated from Shawnee High School. In 1950 she married Jack Lynn Alexander. She enjoyed cooking, reading the Bible, and history. Preceded in death by her parents, son: Guy W. “Muggs” Alexander, brother: David Stroud, granddaughter: Mary Goodman, great-grandson: Austin Toone, and Jack Alexander. Survived by: 3 Children: Eddie Alexander and wife Debbie of Del City, Jackie Goodman and husband Dale of McLoud, and Jane Pride of Shawnee; 4 Sisters: Teresa Collins, Fran Ingles, Janet Hunt, and Gwen Davis; 2 Brothers: Wayne Bridges and DeWayne Bridges; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
