Edward Louis Moody, 90, of Shawnee, OK, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2015 Time: 1:00 P.M. in Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Ruben Marquez Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Schoolton Cemetery, north of Cromwell, OK. Edward Louis Moody was born May 10, 1925 in Mount Ida, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward H. and Minnie Moody, sisters, Mary Crosby and Martha Smith, former wife, Wanda, and a son, Phillip. He is survived by his wife Katherine Moody of the home, a brother, Levi Moody of Shawnee, OK, a sister, Alpha Wright of Noble, OK, daughters, Phyllis Thomason of OKC, OK, Sharon Owens of OKC, OK, a granddaughter, Lisa Norwood and husband Travis of Federal Way, WA, a grandson Richard Thomason of OKC, OK, and a great-granddaughter, Taylor Thomason of Federal Way, WA. The family would like to express special thanks to Heartland Hospice for their faithful and caring support during his final years of life.
