David Isaac Penisten

Oklahoma City resident, David Isaac Penisten, 71, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 in Oklahoma City. Wake service will be 7:00 P.M. Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church with Father Schwarz officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. David was born April 11, 1944 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to George Isaac & Margaret Evelyn (Griggs) Penisten. He was a 1962 graduate of Shawnee High School. From 1963 - 1967 he served in the US Air Force. David worked in logistics management at TAFB, as well as at Triangle A & E. David loved to cook and share food with everyone. He loved to garden, can vegetables and make jelly. Most of all he was generous and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by 2 Sons & Daughters-in-Law: David & Bridgette of Dixon, CA; and J.R. & Julie of Forney, TX; 5 Grandchildren: Chase, Nathan, Gabriella, Auriella & Marina; 2 Sisters & 2 Brothers: Barbara Johanson of Warrington, PA; Patrick & wife Claudine of Shawnee; Michael & wife Eddie of Shawnee; and Christina Hampton of Shawnee; plus a multitude of nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
