Ricky Marles Hall

March 17, 1956 — November 29, 2015

Ricky Marles Hall, 59, of McLoud entered heaven on November 29. 2015 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Rick was born on March 17, 1956 in Enid to Mary Cole and Harold Hall. He attended Shawnee High School and married the love of his life, Cathy Hall, on February 18, 1977. He learned his plumbing skills from his step-dad William Sibley, owner of Modern Plumbing. When he was 18, he joined Plumbers and Pipefitters Local until 1991. He then started his own plumbing company, R & R Plumbing. Rick was a loving husband, father, papa, brother, and son. Family and friends were an important part of his life; he was loved and respected by all who knew him. Rick enjoyed riding his Harley, playing pool, and fishing with his kids and grandkids. He was a proud supporter of the McLoud Redskins and enjoyed coaching and cheering on his children in a variety of sports. He was preceded in death by his step-father William Sibley, father-in-law Elwyn Casteel, mother-in-law Frances Casteel, and brother-in-law John Glenn Castel. Survivors include his wife Cathy Hall, of the home, mother, Mary Cole of Shawnee, father, Harold Hall of Bakersfield, California, son Ricky (Shellie) Hall of Meeker, son Rusty (Erin) Hall, and daughter Jennifer Hall of McLoud. brother Rocky (Carolyn) Hall of Choctaw, brother Butch (Rhonda) Hall, brother Terry (Roxanne), sister Brenda (Ray) Price, of Bakersfield, California, sister Tammie Labor of McCurtain, brother-in-law Don (Josephine) Casteel of Tecumseh, sister-in-law Crystal (Ronnie) Stevenson of Shawnee. His pride and joy were his nine grandchildren, Johnny, Rylan, Rowdy, Cannon, Hudson, Jayden, Taber, Rowland and Landen. Services will be 2 pm, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee with David Nolen and Robby Roberson officiating. Rick will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park, under the direction of Walker Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the OU Stephenson Cancer Center. The family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 6-8 p.m. to visit with family and friends.
