James E. "Jimmy" France, Jr., 60, of Shawnee, died Thursday, December 3, 2015 in a local hospital.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Guy Cagle officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Jimmy was born September 15, 1955 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to James France, Sr. and Pauline (Estep) France. He graduated from Shawnee High School in 1973 and attended Seminole State College. On April 3, 1982 he married Susan (Palmer). He worked as a tool and dye maker for Central Plastics for 34 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Susan France of the home; daughter: Erin France of the home; aunt: Geneva Norris; uncle: Gerald France; brothers-in-law: Kenny Palmer and wife Joann, Mike Palmer and wife Barbara, and Bobby Palmer; as well as several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
