A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M Monday, December 7, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held on December 12, at 2:00 P.M. at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Les McGalliard and Tad McGalliard officiating. Mariella Jacobs was born September 5, 1922 in Aydelotte, Oklahoma to Earl and Edna Jane (Reid) Partlow. She graduated from Shawnee High School. After graduation she worked as secretary for Shawnee High School. In 1942, she married Glenn Allison Jacobs. When Glenn was stationed in Dodge City, KS, she worked for the Post Office. During the ‘70s she became a bookkeeper for Shawnee’s First State Bank, later retiring as Assistant Cashier and Customer Service Rep. She was a longtime member of Central Church of Christ in Shawnee. She was an excellent cook with many recipes that have become and remain family traditions. Her sweet nature blessed those around her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Glenn, brothers and sisters. Survivors include: 2 Sons: Richard Jacobs and wife Dixie of Longmont, CO, Kevin Jacobs and wife Juliet of OKC, Daughter: Janice McGalliard and husband Tim of Shawnee, 7 Grandchildren: Jeffrey Jacobs of Aurora, CO, Jami Luallin and husband Caleb of Castlerock, CO, Jacey Eslick and husband Jonathan of Owasso, OK, Kaleb Jacobs of Glenwood Springs, CO, Kade Jacobs of OKC, Tad McGalliard and wife Jennifer of Blanchard, OK, Kenton McGalliard of Tuscaloosa, AL, And 5 Great-Grandchildren: Blake and Jaxson Luallin, Bennett Eslick, Emilia and Emmet McGalliard
