Thomas W. Cook, Sr., 79, of Shawnee, OK, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 in a local hospital.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church with Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Tom was born March 23, 1936 in Decatur, Texas to Menzo D. Cook and Flora A. Martin. He was a graduate of Dill City High School, and a retired Inspector General with TAFB. He was married to Rose M. Cook, and later to Eulene Cook.
He served with the United States Marines, and his passion was playing music at the Senior Center and other venues in the local area with wife Eulene. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
He is survived by: Tommy and his wife Danita of Rock Hill, SC, their daughter and son-in-law Bethany & Bob Cummings of Bixby, OK, also Grant Thomas Cook of Rock Hill, SC; Daughter Linda Rose Cook of Shawnee, her daughters Jamie Mikish of Broken Arrow, OK, and Lauren and her husband Seth Chitwood of Choctaw, OK; Son Adam Rogers, his wife Kacey, and sons Jordan and Jared of Dale, OK. Step-children, Theresa Padilla, Ronnie Sluder, Marcella Rose, Danny Padilla; Sisters Jane Smith and Doris Miller, both of Okla. City and Diann Dunn and her husband Joe of Shawnee.
