Rosalie Lucille Davis

Rosalie Lucille Davis, 75, of McLoud, OK, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at her home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 Graveside at Dale Cemetery with Pastor Tuney Ropp officiating. Rosalie was born July 18, 1940 in California to Thurman J. Hugh & Gladys Lucille Hood. She was a homemaker and worked 16 years for DHS as a home nurse. She enjoyed crafting, decorating, cooking, sewing, painting and gardening. She was an active part of the Masonic Lodge, where she enjoyed fund raising events. She also met her best friend, James Veach, at the lodge through her friend Jean Boggess. She was preceded in death by: her parents, three brothers and one nephew. She is survived by: Daughters: Becky Carpenter, McLoud, and Cindy Boydston, Ft. Worth, TX Brothers: Ron Hood and Phillip Hood – both of McLoud Six Grandchildren: Crystal Plunkett, Christopher Farris, Angela Carpenter, Michael Farris, James Aaron Boydston, and Justin Boydston Five Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews
