Jo Ann Manlapig

JoAnn Manlapig passed away February 25, 2016 in Midwest City, OK. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 29, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Todd Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. The family will be at Walker Funeral Service for 5 to 7 on Sunday to receive friends. Jo Ann Manlapig was born January 14, 1942 in Porterville, California to Martin and Bonita Michaelis. She graduated from Porterville High School and attended the University of Laverne, and Fresno State. On September 26, 1965 she married Darrel Manlapig. They were married 51 years before her death. She worked most of her life as a housewife and homemaker but also worked as an accountant. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and hosting and attending home bible studies. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her Husband: Darrel Manlapig of the home, Children: Michael Manlapig and wife Janna of Shawnee, Phillip Manlapig of Parker, CO, Peggy Tanishita and husband Rick of Thousand Oaks, CA, Grandchildren: Corey Tanishita, Hayley Tanishita, Mitchell Manlapig, Kamryn Manlapig, Brother: Ron Michaelis and wife Dorothy of Red Bluff, CA
