Margaret Boardman

Margaret Thelma Boardman (April 20, 1920 – March 2, 2016) Margaret Thelma Boardman, 95, of Shawnee, Oklahoma died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in Naples, Florida. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Tecumseh Cemetery with Rev. Kay Nix officiating. Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service. Margaret was the third child of seven, born to Edgar and Lena Boardman. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Charles, Archie, Stanley, Willis, Virgil and her sister Alma. She is survived by her nieces; Margaret and husband James McKenrick of Hanover Pennsylvania, Linda and husband Nathaniel Boyd of Naples, Florida, and Barbara and husband Fred Bowen of Keller, Texas. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews; Madison and Quinn Bowen of Keller Texas, Nathaniel Boyd, David and wife Tracey Nease with their sons Cole and Max of Naples, Florida, and Jennifer and husband Nathan Stetter with their daughter Baileigh of Glenville, Pennsylvania. Margaret graduated from Shawnee High School. She was employed by the Round House Company as a seamstress from 1947 until her retirement. She was a lifetime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she served as Treasurer. Margaret was a devoted caregiver of her parents and several of her brothers. She was such a wonderful example of Christian values.
