Arlene Ruth Wolf, 98, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Shawnee. Memorial services will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. the the chapel of Walker Funeral Service with Rev. Kris Tate officiating. Arlene Ruth Wolf was born April 6, 1917 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Harvey Gottschall and Anna (Kocher) Gottschall. She graduated from John Harris High School in Harrisburg, PA. On August 23, 1941she married Louis Wolf in Georgia. She spent much of her life as a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed caring for her family, being very active with her church, and loved her pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter: Eileen Louise McElhaney, and a brother: Merrill Gottschall. Survived by 1 Son: Louis Wolf and wife Marti of Shawnee, 3 Grandchildren: Wendy Little of OKC, Wade Wolf and wife Sharon of Edmond, Wesley Wolf and wife Jenna of Edmond, 2 Step-Grandchildren: Shannon Tiger and husband Bill of Shawnee, Scott Briggs and wife Lori of Edmond, 5 Great-Grandchildren: Connor, Marguerite, Anna, Isabella, and Oliver, 3 Step-Great-Grandchildren: Emily, Makenzie, and Ky, And several other family members and friends.
