Albert Pendleton

Former Shawnee resident, Albert Pendleton, 91, of Johnstown, CO died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Loveland, CO. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at Fairview Cemetery with Dwyane Dennis officiating. Albert was born September 21, 1924 in South Fork Township, Christian County, Illinois to James and Mariah Pendleton. On December 1, 1948 he married Virginia Hazlett. He served in the United States Army and retired as a contractor for Tinker AFB. His daughter Mary and granddaughters Ashlie and Mackenzie were the highlights of his life. He was a Central Church of Christ Deacon for 40 years, and a member of the Shawnee Elks Country Club. He was preceded in death by: Father, Mother, five brothers, two sisters, Wife Virginia and granddaughter Ashlie. He is survived by: Daughter Mary Snider and her husband Kent, granddaughter Mackenzie and step granddaughters Kassadie Gastgeb and Bobbi DeRose and families.
