Edna Lee Flowers, 95, of Shawnee, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Johnny Cullison and Larry Walker. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker. Edna Lee Flowers was born April 7, 1920 in Meeker, Oklahoma to Everett and Levada (Walker) Johnson. She married William Hayden Flowers on October 2, 1937 in Shawnee. Before she was a homemaker, she worked at Green Valley Farms Ice Cream Factory in Shawnee. She also worked at Seamproof in Holdenville. After relocating to Chandler, she was employed at Washington Mills and Mercer’s Jewelry. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter: Patsy Ruth Roberts, and her siblings. Survived by: Son: Terry Hayden Flowers and wife Debra Grandchildren: Pamela Roberts Watson and husband Don, Debora Roberts Hammond and husband Bobby, Stanfill Hayden Flowers, Julia Flowers Gaul and husband Aaron, Great-Grandchildren: Candy Hammond Lozier and husband Matt, Amy Watson Lind and husband Bryan, Hayden Flowers, Rainey Flowers, Denver Hayden Gaul, Great-Great-Grandchildren: Brooks Lozier, Kayla Lind, Tyler Lind, Wyatt Lind, Son-in-law: Johnny Roberts.
