Former Shawnee resident, Ronald Joe Paxson, 68, died Friday, March 25, 2016 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Mike Craig officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Ronald Joe Paxson was born October 28, 1947 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Joe Harold Paxson and Avis (Ross) Paxson. He graduated from Earlsboro High School and later served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam. After serving in the Air Force he attended Seminole Junior College. On December 3, 1970 he married Linda (Guerrero). He retired from Tinker Air Force Base after a long career there. He enjoyed baseball, fishing, hunting, camping but most of all spending time with his 2 sets of triplet grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his Wife: Linda Paxson of the home,
2 Children: Christa Dudley and husband Kyle of Moore,
Kevin Paxson and wife Kim of Shawnee,
6 Grandsons: Connor, Kaleb, Tyler, Brody, Jax, and Carter,
Mother: Avis Paxson of Shawnee,
Sister: Patricia Brewer of Tecumseh,
Brother: Roger Paxson wife Jackie of Shawnee,
And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
