Faye Renegar

Mattie Faye Renegar, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at her home. Faye was born October 28, 1932 to James Thomas and Sarah Ethel (Gwin) Denney near Earlsboro, OK. She married R.L. Renegar on November 20th, 1954. They had been married for more than 29 years at the time of his death in 1984. Faye owned and operated Faye’s Beauty Salon for 35 years. More than anything, she enjoyed time with family and friends. Faye surrendered her life to Christ at a young age and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and sisters Lorene Ryan and Florence Huckabee. Faye is survived by her children: Bob (Debi) Renegar, Paula Eastham, Lori (David) Hagans, Amy Seckel, and former son-in-law Jay Seckel, loving grandchildren: Andy (Laresa) Renegar, Emily (Josh) Stinnett, Kimberly Faye (Greg) Smith, Brandon Eastham, Annie and Abigail Hagans, Jamie Seckel and cherished great grandchildren: Olivia, Molly Faye, Allison, Isaac, Aubrey, Lanna, and Sullivan. Faye also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 22nd at Temple Baptist Church with Mike Craig officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
