Irma Lee Bridgewater Irma was born November 30, 1924 in Oklahoma City, OK. She attended Oklahoma City secondary schools. During WWII, she worked transporting workers to the McDonald Douglas plant in Tulsa. After WWII, she worked at OG&E until she married Robert Earl Bridgewater in September 1950. She and Bob started their married life in Midland, TX. They moved to Tecumseh, OK in 1962 with their two children. She resided in Tecumseh until 2015, when declining health made her move to assisted living in Broken Arrow, OK. Bob Bridgewater preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Dennis, and his wife Peggy of Broken Arrow, OK. Her daughter, Nancy, and her husband Tommy of Estes Park, Colorado. Also, she is survived her sister, CB Pannell of Oklahoma City, OK. She has three grandchildren, Robert Earl Bridgewater II, Rachel Bridgewater Bardgett and Robert Rudluff. She has 9 great grandchildren. Irma passed from this earth plane after a brief illness. Services will be conducted Tuesday, May 24 at 10:00 A.M. at Walker Funeral Home for family and friends. Interment will be at Resthaven in Shawnee, OK. Memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society.
