Sheryl Ann McClellan

Sheryl Ann McClellan was born July 16, 1960 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Vernon & Irene McClellan, and passed from this life June 19, 2016 at her home in Shawnee. Wake services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 at First Indian Baptist Church, and funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the church, with Emerson Falls officiating. Burial will follow in Wakolee Cemetery. Sheryl was a graduate of Shawnee High School, and took some courses at Seminole Jr. College. She worked as a secretary for a law firm in Tecumseh, then took care of her mother full time. She loved sewing and various crafts. She collected frog memorabilia all her life and loved the color of purple. She donated to numerous cancer, diabetes, heart, veteran and humane societies. She was preceded in death by her father and both sets of grandparents. She is survived by: Her mother, Irene McClellan of the home Brother & Sister-in-Law: Darren & Carolyn McClellan of Afton, OK Special Aunt: Lois Washington of Shawnee As well as other aunts and cousins.
