Dennis Wayne King, 63, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Dale Cemetery. Dennis Wayne King was born May 27, 1953 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Benny and Mary Lou King. He graduated from Shawnee High School. He owned and operated a Glass Company in Tishomingo and later worked for various local glass companies. He married Nora (Murphy) in August 2010. He enjoyed fishing, the New England Patriots, and O.U. Preceded in death by his parents, a wife: Susie King, a son: Donnie Gordon, and a brother: Benny King. Survived by: Wife: Nora King of the home, 8 Children: Chris Carr and wife Tanya, Brian King, Sara Buttram, Misti Hayes and Tim, Michael Clark, Talia Hammons, Davin Hammons and Shalie, Dennis Burklund, 15 Grandchildren: Hannah, Amber, Micheala, Noah, Jordyn, Caitlyn, Montana, Madelyn, Jorden, Joshua, Aaron, Andrew, Ethan, Nicholas, and Hailey. 3 Great-Grandchildren, Sister: Cassandra Myers and husband Randy, And several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
