T. John Edgin, Sr.

Theodore John Edgin, Sr., 88, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Shawnee, OK. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at First Christian Church in Shawnee with Rev. Ray Belford officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-7 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Theodore John Edgin was born June 24, 1928 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Barney and Leota (Raider) Edgin. He attended Shawnee and Tecumseh schools and graduated in 1946. He served in the United States Navy. Preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Roy Edgin, and a sister: Virginia Densford. Survived by: 2 Children: Lisa Stewart and husband Mark, Theodore John Edgin, Jr., 2 Grandchildren: Faith Stewart, Jerrad Highman, Nieces: Vicki Edgin and Barbara Oconnor, Nephew: Sam Hardin, And several other relatives and friends.
