Ardah Ruth McGuire

Ardah Ruth McGuire, 89, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at her Oklahoma City home. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Tecumseh Cemetery with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Ardah was born February 13, 1927 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma to Roy H. & Bonnie Ruth (Alston) Davis. She attended school in Hoisington, Kansas. She was married to George Frederick (Mickey) McGuire. He preceded her in death. She was blessed to have a soul mate, Richard S. Roberts, along with three amazing sons, Richie, Andy & Phillip, along with three grandsons. Ardah lived for her family and was blessed to have grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to tell stories with her longtime friends Doris Feaster and Edra Harrison. Their laughs and spirit for life will be everlasting with her family forever. She is survived by her daughters: Patsy Fitzgerald Anderson, and Marsha Beshirs and her husband, Larry Beshirs. Grandchildren and their spouses: Mickey Sean Lassiter & Mandy of Piedmont, OK, Hallie Nicole & Jon Hill of Okla. City, Blake Fitzgerald & Merrick, and Brandon Fitzgerald. Great-Grandchildren: Tucker Lassiter, Harrison Hill, Jennings Hill, and Coe Fitzgerald. Loving adopted daughter: Debbie Harrison McElhaney. Memorials may be made in Ardah’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Association or the American Heart Association.
