Kirsten Teresa (Block) Allard

Kirsten Teresa (Block) Allard, a longtime resident of Shawnee, OK passed peacefully into eternity surrounded by family and long time friends Phil Pourchot and Carol Lindley on July 28th, 2016 in Plano TX. Born October 11, 1949, in Shawnee OK to parents Leo and Margie (Brown) Block. A highly respected woman of faith, Kirsten's life was devoted to her family, friends, and serving the lord. She always lived life to the fullest with her gentle heart and beautiful smile. Kirsten was an active volunteer within her church and was very dedicated to her animals. She is survived by family members Chris and Theada Block, Kenny and Jana Block, Karen Hayes, Linda Block, niece Brandi, and nephews Kerry, Aaron, and Kyle. She was preceded in death by Gracie Diamond, her parents Leo and Margie, sister Carla, brothers Kevin, Kerry, and nephew Andrew. Celebrations of her life will include a Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at St. Benedict Catholic Church and a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at St. Benedict Catholic Church with burial following at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Association for Cancer Research.
