Betty Jo Moore

Betty Jo Moore went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 4, 2016. She was born January 26, 1928 to James Goodin and Sarah Sullenger Goodin in Seminole, OK. She married Elvin Jesse Moore, also known as “Bud” on December 21, 1946 and they were married 59 years before he passed away in 2005. They resided in Bethany, Oklahoma for 47 years, before moving to Meeker, Oklahoma in 1996. She retired from Macklanburg Duncan in 1994. Betty was a very spiritual person who knew that she would be celebrating in heaven after her time on earth. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Elvin, two sisters Anna Belle Nowlin, Charity Barber, and three brothers Jeff Goodin, Pat Goodin and RV Goodin. She is survived by three children and their spouses David and Melvina Moore, Oklahoma City, OK, Timothy and Pamela Moore, Meeker, OK, daughter Sarah and Ernie Trower, Oklahoma City, OK and their families, including eight grandsons and one granddaughter and nineteen great grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held at the Rossville Cemetery on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
