Marjorie Gaila Wenthe

Marjorie Gaila Wenthe, age 93, died Thursday at a local nursing home. She was born August 19, 1922, the youngest of 9 children, to H.G. and Georgia Hodgson, and graduated from Seminole High School. Mrs. Wenthe was a long time legal secretary for the Henry, West, Sill & Combs law firm. She enjoyed a good bridge game, and was competitive well into her years. Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard J. Wenthe, and a son, Richard T. Stuart. She is survived by a daughter, Shelley Ann Holliday, and husband Paul Holliday, and a son, James T. Stuart, and wife Kathy Stuart. Her grandchildren include Robyn & Jeremy Fennell, Austin Holliday, Ashlynne Holliday & Justin Arrieta, Emily & Matt Thompson, Rachel Stuart & Nick Schones, and Sarah & David Rader, and great-grandchildren: Mack Thompson, Audree Arrieta, and Warren Rader. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Walker Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
