Thomas Lee Watson

Thomas Lee Watson, 79, of Shawnee, OK died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at a local hospital. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Charlie Clem officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery. Thomas Lee Watson was born March 28, 1937 in Lancing, Tennessee to Laban and Bessie (McAlister) Watson. He served in the United States Army in Germany at the end of the Korean War. On December 8, 1961, he married Thelma (Hawn). Mr. Watson worked as a Bi-Vocational Pastor, serving several churches in Oklahoma. He also worked as a truck driver. He attended Garden Grove Missionary Baptist Church and Life House in Shawnee. He loved music and playing the guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. He is survived by his Wife: Thelma Watson of the home, 3 Children: Annette Wiles and husband John of Shawnee, Anita Page of OKC, Mike Watson and wife Kathy of Shawnee, 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Sisters: Hazel Fox of Shawnee, Lou Christmas of N.C., And several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
