Jewel (Seaton) Looper Love

Jewel (Seaton) Looper Love, 96, of Shawnee, OK, died Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Tecumseh, OK. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Waldo Young officiating. Burial will follow in Tecumseh Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Friday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with friends and family. Jewel (Seaton) Looper Love was born November 15, 1919 in Steve, Arkansas to Olgar “Olg” and Mary (Adams) Seaton. She moved south of Prague, OK in 1925 and moved south east of Prague in the Vanzant Community in 1926 thru 1943. She married Woodrow Looper September 24, 1938. They had 3 Children. She worked on the farm beside her husband until moving to Shawnee in 1949. She was a member of the First Church of God and later attended Northeast Freewill Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. Woodrow went home to be with his Heavenly Father in 1978 and she married Henry Love in 1979. God called him home in 2009. Preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a son: Homer Looper, and a brother: Vernon Seaton. Survived by: 1 Son: Delbert Looper and wife Lonna of Woodward, OK, 1 Daughter: Geraldine Anderson and husband Ervin of Tecumseh, OK, A Daughter-in-law: Anna Looper of Shawnee, 7 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, And other family members and friends.
