Chandler resident, Elma Newcomb, 84, died Saturday, October 22, 2016 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Meeker Assembly of God with Bill Forman officiating.  Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Blair Cemetery in Blair, Oklahoma with Gary Usher officiating.  Elma Newcomb was born January 24, 1932 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to L. Mark Davis and Emma Margaret (Hand) Davis.  She married Louis E. Sirmons in 1949. Louis died in 1991 and she later married Charles Ivey.  Charles died in 1995 and later married Jerry Dean Newcomb on June 27, 2000.  She had worked as a seamstress for Kelwood Co. (garment factory).  She was a member of Meeker Assembly of God.  Her enjoyment include her church, cooking, gardening, and spending time with family.  Preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, son: Ben Sirmons, grandson: James Capehart, 3 sisters: Thelma Ashley (her twin), Zola Clements, Letha Moxely, and 2 brothers: Vernon and Harold Davis. She is survived by her Husband: Jerry Newcomb of the home; 2 Children: Edna Capehart of Mangum, and Pat Henry of Mangum; Step-Children: Ben Newcomb and wife Shirlie of Chandler, Terry Newcomb and wife Celeste of Broken Arrow, and Larry Newcomb of California; 14 Grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren; Sisters: Greta Sirmons of Texas, Wynona Calkins of Granite; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
