Patsy Joann McDaniel

Patsy Joann McDaniel,  79, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at  Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Butch Hodge officiating.  Burial will be in Denver Cemetery, Norman, Oklahoma. Patsy Joann McDaniel was born January 14, 1937 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Curtis Smith and Juanita (Wagnon) Smith.  She married Alvin “Sonny” McDaniel in July of 1953.   She had worked for 31 years at Schwartz Elementary School in Midwest City as the cafeteria manager. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Gail McDaniel, 1 sister: Jerry Williams, and 6 brothers: Haskell, Donnie, Roland, Kenneth, Timmy, and Jimmy Smith.  She is survived by:   2 Children: Belinda White and husband Ray of Tecumseh, and Donnie McDaniel and wife Kelly of McLoud; 13 Grandchildren,  23 Great-Grandchildren, a niece that she raised: Cindy O’Neal of Midwest City, Brother: Gary Smith and wife Janet of McLoud, and several Sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
