Franklin "Frank" Dewey Scroggins

Franklin “Frank” Dewey Scroggins,  83, of Shawnee, OK, died  Monday, December 5, 2016 at a local hospital.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2016 at  Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Todd Fisher & Scott Schooler officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday evening, 6-8 p.m. to visit with friends and family.  Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church in honor of Frank. Frank was born March 10, 1933 in Cache, OK to Dewey & Dorothy Scroggins.  He served in the US Army.  Frank  owned & operated Shawnee Motor Supply, then worked for Shawnee Car Paints until retirement.   On August 19, 1980 he married Doris Scroggins, and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.  “Family”, plain and simple, his family was his main interest. He loved golfing, fishing with his grandchildren and watching his great grandchildren as they grew up.      He was preceded in death by his Parents. Frank is survived by his wife, Doris Scroggins of the home Children: Jeff (Marilyn) Scroggins of OKC, Molly (Jimmy) Fincher of Shawnee, Sally (Jimmie) Brownell of Shawnee, Jennifer Scroggins of Boulder, CO Grandchildren: Lance (Shelley) Howell, Dionne (Matt) Woods, Brooke (Eric) Vandeventer, Baylee (Andy) Hammons, Bunky “Scoot” (Danielle) Fincher, John (Heather) Brownell, and Katie (Jason) Keck. Great-Grandchildren: Mason and Evan Howell, Elijah and Holden Woods, Brody and Easton Vandeventer, Henry and Mille Hammons, Kelsey Kinnamen, Braden Brownell, Cutter Walker and Jase Keck. Sister: Rita Rippe, of Pine Grove, CA and Brother: Bill Scroggins, of Penn Valley, CA
