Ruby Alice Austin

Ruby Alice Austin, 88, of Shawnee, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in Shawnee. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 9, 2017 at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker. Ruby Alice Austin was born August 22, 1929 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Walter and Floy Woolery.  She married Wesley Austin on June 23, 1945.  She worked as a core cutter at Mobile for 11 years before retiring.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister: Joyce Hice, and a granddaughter: Kerri Walker. Survived by:   2 Daughters: Kathryn Walker of Meeker, and Carolyn Linn of Meeker; 5 Grandchildren: Billy Walker, Lori Ledford, Terri Walker,       Tammy Weathers, and Deanna Moore; 15 Great-Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren (and one on the way); 4 Brothers: John Woolery of CA, Don Woolery of Shawnee, Charles Woolery of CA, and Billy Woolery of AR; 1 Sister: Mary Woolery of WV, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
