Shawnee resident, Jimmy William Drain, 60, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City. The family will be at the funeral home to receive friends on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Shawnee. Jimmy Drain was born January 13, 1957 in Wichita, Kansas to Jimmy Walter Drain and Audrey Jean (Smith) Drain. He graduated from Moore High School in 1975. On May 7, 1982 he married Karen (Ryan). They would have celebrated 35 years of marriage in May. Shortly after their marriage, they were baptized at Immanuel Baptist Church. He began working at Georg Fischer Central Plastics in 1983. He was a member of the Elks Lodge where he enjoyed playing golf with his friends and socializing, and enjoyed watching O.U. football. He was currently attending Life Church. He was preceded in death by his Father. Survivors include: Wife: Karen Drain of the home; 3 Children: Jennifer Baggerly and husband Mike of Ada, Jeff Drain and wife Misty of Stratford, and Sheena Sigman and husband Shane of Tulsa; 5 Grandchildren: Chelsea Harris, Courtney Lewis, Jocelyn Baggerly, Anthony Wilson, and Hudson Sigman; 1 Great-Grandson: Griffin Goodnight; Mother: Audrey Reimer of Shawnee; 1 Sister: Becky Wicker and husband Steve of Yukon; 2 Brothers-in-law: Allen and Sandy Ryan of Lacey Springs, Alabama, and Mark Ryan of Elk City; as well as several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
