Jamie Lou Davis, 51, of Shawnee, died Saturday night, Feb. 11, in her home after an extended illness. Graveside committal services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, in Resthaven Memorial Park with Capt. Clay Russell of the Salvation Army officiating. She was born April 2, 1965, in Shawnee to James E. and Eleanor Ruth Davis. She was a graduate of Shawnee High School and attended Faith 7 Activity Center for a number of years. Jamie was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, a brother-in-law Randy Schoonover, several aunts and uncles and a cousin. Survivors include her mother, Eleanor Ruth Davis of the home; a sister Pat McCormick and husband Mike, of Shawnee, a sister Nellie Schoonover, Lone Grove; nieces Meghan Jackson and husband Terry, Norman, Sarah Cathey and husband Brandon, Lone Grove, Cheryl Gee and husband Audie, Lone Grove; nephews Paul Schoonover, Wilson, James Schoonover, Lubbock, Texas; a cousin Judy and husband Wayne Jolley, Vinita. A special thanks to Loving Care Hospice and to Mary, Bridget and Brittany. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Faith 7 Adult Workshop in Shawnee. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 14 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
