Shawnee resident Oleta Mae Good, 99, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at her home. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Dewayne Colvin and Butch Bradley officiating. Oleta Mae Good was born March 25, 1917 in Rocky, Oklahoma to Floyd and Deanie (Green) Cox. She graduated from Sentinel High School in 1934. On November 1, 1941 she married Thomas Good. She spent much of her life working as a homemaker. She enjoyed garage sales and exercising at her aerobics class at the Sr. Center, (which she did twice a week until a month ago) and riding her stationary bike almost every day. She was a member of Wallace Avenue Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers: Herschel, Cecil, and Dale Cox, and a sister: Juanita Owen. Survived by 3 Children: Mary Karen Gonzales and husband Daniel of Houston, TX, Sharon Honeycutt of Ada, OK, and Thomas Good, Jr. of Shawnee; 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter due in one month. As well as several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
