Thomas "Tom" M. Stewart

Thomas M. “Tom” Stewart, 78, of Shawnee, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 in a local hospital.  Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Walker Funeral Chapel with Rev.  Ray Belford and Rev. Scott Hendry officiating.  Burial will be in White Rock Cemetery, West, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, please honor Tom with a donation to The Bella Foundation, www.thebellafoundation.org.    Tom was born September 11, 1938 in Waco, Texas to Tommie B. & Marjorie Mae (Morgan) Stewart.  He attended Capitol Hill High School in Okla. City and UCO (Central State University).  On December 31, 1966 he married Joyce Maxwell in Waco, Texas.  He worked 27 years as a salesman for RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Del City and volunteered for Salvation Army.  He had lived in Shawnee since 1976. Tom was preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home, daughter Julia Stewart of Dallas, TX, and a son, Terrance Stewart of Austin, TX
