Susan "Sue" M. Riedel

Shawnee resident, Sue Riedel, 87, got her wings on March 26, 2017 in Ada, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Tecumseh Cemetery.  Sue was born November 16, 1929 in Asher, Oklahoma to William “Bill” and Maggie Leaser. She was one of 6 siblings.  She married her one and only true love Paul Jackson Riedel.  They were married till his death in 1985.  Sue was a foster mother to several children and had an in-home day care where she loved and cared for many.  She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ in Shawnee. She was preceded in death her parents, 4 siblings: Bill, Alice, Trixie, and Kathryn, and a daughter: Vicki Williams. She is survived by her Son: Edgar Riedel and wife Mieva; Daughter: Nancy Burleson and husband Gary; Grandchildren: Mark, Jeff, Jay, Becky, Mike, Glen, Gilbert and Andrew; Great-Grandchildren: Christie, Kyle, Kendra, Whitney, Payton, Hailey, Gable, Kinsli, Gamblynn, Atlie,  Louie, Kyle, Ricky, Gracie, Riley, Gabriella, Jayden, Erica, Kiara, Gary, Tamara, Jaxon, Dayton, Logan, Jesse, Colby, Ethan, Christian, and  Mackenzie; Great-Great-Grandchildren: Brittani, Jaylin, Brock, Jake, Jacy, Texas, Cordell, and Allison; Great-Great-Great-Grandchild: Braylie, And her beloved nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
