February 18, 1936 — March 29, 2017

Molly Jean (Burnett) Cagle was born on February 18, 1936. After a seven year battle with cancer she went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2017. Molly was preceded in death by her loving husband Delvin Dean Cagle, her precious daughter Toni Doreen (Cagle) Scheidt, and her parents Tony John Burnett and Mamie Myrle (Moore) Burnett. Those left to honor her; son Delvin Dean Cagle Jr. (Buddy), sister, Ella (Burnett) Church, granddaughters Courtney Mason (Randall), Jamie Cobb (Ross), Mallory Davenport, Delvin Dean Cagle III, and Colton Cagle. Great grandchildren; Chandler and Gryphan Mason, Ryder Davenport, Toni Knightly Houston, Brigslee and Stryker Cobb, Layla Cagle, and Noah Dean Cagle. Also, sister-in-law’s Zelma (Cagle) Adams (Mel), Sharon (Cagle) Yerby, and a host of other relatives and friends. Molly was born on a large dairy/produce farm south of McLoud, OK. She attended Dale, OK schools graduating in 1954. During her high school years she was elected FFA Queen and was also a major player on the girls’ basketball team. After graduation, she attended East Central University and Hills Business University. She then became secretary to the President of Banker’s Service. Molly was known to her family and friends as respectful, kind, and caring. A very special time in her life was when she and her sister Ella, ages eleven and twelve, walked hand-in-hand down the aisle of the McLoud Baptist Church to dedicate their young lives. Molly married the love of her life Delvin Dean Cagle on June 2, 1956 and was blessed with 58 years of marriage. During this time they took several trips to the Hawaiian Islands and Paris, France, but mostly enjoyed their yearly trips to Myrtle Beach, SC. While traveling up and down the eastern coast, they enjoyed sight-seeing, antique shopping, and eating a large variety of fresh sea food. Dean’s company transferred them in Dallas, TX and after his retirement, they purchased a second home in Shawnee OK to be closer to their family. Molly will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. Services will be held at Walker Funeral Chapel,  201 E. 45th St. Shawnee, OK 74804, on Saturday April 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
