Nellie Lovenia Lee

Nellie Lovenia Lee, 84, of Shawnee passed from this life Monday, April 3, 2017. She was born to Edward Joshua Smith and Daisy Jewel (Chandler) Smith February 2, 1933, in Seminole. She married Calvin Young Lee December 6, 1958, in Stillwater. Nellie was baptized May 18th, 2003 at the First Baptist Church of Shawnee. Throughout her life she worked as a waitress, custodian, and caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one infant sister Velma Lou Smith, three brothers and one sister-in-law, Amos Smith, Raymond Smith, and Roy Smith and his wife, Christine, one step-son Garlan Lee, and one step-daughter Shirley Ann Sullivan. She is survived by one brother Thurman Smith of Bowlegs, two sons Robert Wayne Smith of Shawnee, and Roy Edward Lee and his wife, Tammy Lee, of Shawnee, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, April 7 at Fairview Cemetery.
