Then, on October 28, 2002 Anna became a devoted mother to her daughter Abby Elizabeth Dillon. Anna decided to completely devote herself to being a mother when her son, Zachary Charles Dillon, was born on July 14, 2004. Being a mother was the highlight and joy of Anna's life. To quote Anna herself, "I am leaving behind the very best of me in my children, Abby and Zach."In 2011 Anna returned to advocate for children with The Department of Human Services and finished her service to the state of Oklahoma as a Program Field Representative for The Post Adoption Unit. Anna spent the remainder of her career advocating for adopted children and making sure their families had the support they needed. Anna courageously chose to continue to serve others after she was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer on November 18, 2013. Anna became a member of the LIVESTRONG Club in Oklahoma City; a group that was founded by the YMCA to promote the emotional and physical well being of people fighting cancer. Anna's dedication to her LIVESTRONG Club meetings represent one of many ways she chose to face the battle with cancer head on, face forward. Anna developed an advantageous desire to serve God during her fight against cancer; personally making and anonymously delivering over 800 crosses to those battling cancer. Anna enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels throughout her fight and refused to stop serving those in need. One of her favorite sources of strength was to serve children fighting cancer at OU Medical Center in the art room. Anna will be especially remembered for her servant's heart, spirit of adventure, and her tenacious devotion to her two children. She leaves her strength and loving memories to comfort her two children Abby & Zach.
