Arvil Andrew Balentine Jr

Arvil Andrew Balentine Jr., beloved Son, Brother, Father and Grandfather, age 66, of Oklahoma City, OK, lost his battle with COPD on February 2, 2024. He was born in Okemah on April 10, 1957 to Arvil Andrew Balentine, Sr. and Alpha Lela Balentine. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Kay Balentine, two sisters, and two brothers. Survivors include two sisters, seven children, 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  

Arvil grew up in Shawnee OK and was a great sketch artist. He had a rock band and was a cross-country truck driver. He married the love of his life, Sharon Kay Hopkins.

A memorial ceremony will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Freedom Assembly of God Church, 45407 Hwy 3 Shawnee, OK 74804.
