Barbara JoAnne Lane

Shawnee resident Barbara Lane, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Shawnee. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 12, 2021 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Thompson officiating. Barbara was born February 5, 1937 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to James and Ada (Garrett) Gray. She attended Shawnee schools. On September 16, 1985 she married Charles Boyd Lane. She worked mostly in food service at St. Gregory’s Cafeteria and at Pratt’s Grocery. She also had worked for Pott. County Court House. She was member of Liberty Baptist Church and enjoyed bible study and heling others. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Boyd, an infant son, a daughter: SherriaAnne Gayman, brother: Orville, Fred “Bud”, and Roy Gray, and a sister: Shirley Gray. Survivors include: Daughter: Celeste Janine Rivera of Florida, Granddaughter: Jessica Rivera Great-Grandson: Joel Rivera, Stepchildren: Wynona Thompson Charles Lane and wife Judy, Boyd Wayne Lane and wife Selma, Robert Lane, Brothers: Robert Gray and wife Wilma, Carl Gray, And several nieces, nephews, other family and friends
