Shawnee resident Bill Fowler, 85, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at his homeThe family will be at Walker Funeral Service on Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm to receive friends. Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Dale CemeteryBill was born January 9, 1933 near Meeker, Oklahoma to Johnny Elva Fowler and Hazel Victoria (Martin) Fowler. He married Joanna (Shorney) on August 17, 1951. Bill worked as a farmer for most of his life.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, great-grandsons: Dayton Gage and Dax Garrett, and a brother: Erdis Elvis Fowler.He is survived by 4 Sons: Bill Daniel Fowler and wife Michin of Shawnee,David Joel Fowler of Shawnee,Michael Duane Fowler and wife Mary of Meeker,John Douglas Fowler and wife Cindy of Shawnee,14 Grandchildren,13 Great-Grandchildren and 1 on the way,Sister-in-laws: Mildred Fowler of Meeker,Bernice Rose of Shawnee,Catherine Shorney of Shawnee,And numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends
