Shawnee resident Billie Sullivan, 93, passed away Friday, December 1 at her home.Services will be 10:30am Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Paul Stevens officiating. A private committal service will follow.Billie was born January 18, 1924 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Fred and Jewel Bradshaw. She married James Sullivan and they moved to Shawnee in 1947 for James to attend OBU. She worked as receptionist in the office of Dean L.E. Solomon. After their daughters were grown she returned to OBU to work as Secretary to the Department of Nursing. She was also a Pink Lady Volunteer at Unity Health Center, North. She was a Realtor for 12 years. First Baptist Church was home away from home. She was a Sunday School Teacher, G.A. Mission Leader, Charter member and President of the Hallelujah Chorus, and member of the Grief Committee. She loved her family dearly and was so interested in all their school and church activities. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved, best friend, and husband: James.Survivors include Daughters: Pam Shawn of Shawnee, Margo Henderson and husband Roger of Augusta, GA, Jil Wade and husband Rocky of Shawnee, Grandchildren: Krista Shawn Daniels (Valerie and Gabrielle) of Shawnee, Karla Cantrell and husband Pete (Nicholas, Luke, Michael) of Shawnee, Laura Doe and husband Brian (Hannah, Lilly, Natalie) of Greensboro, GA, Jennifer Zwirn and husband Wes (Conner, Emerson, Everett) of Athens, GA, Lisa Solberg and husband Josh (Caleb, Micah) of Yukon, OK, Niece: Jan Glass and husband Bob of McLean, TX, Sister-in-law :Margie Bradshaw of Cleburne, TX Cousin: Paula Doughty of Denver, CO. And a host of friends, including her dearest friend Hazel Henry Searcy, and the Henry Family.
