Bobby Leon Wilbourn, 78, left this life for his Heavenly home on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 29th, 1943 in Okemah, Ok to Marvin and Commazelle Marie Wilbourn. Bobby married Bonnie Jean McDade, the love of his life, in 1973. They had 48 wonderful years together. He was employed with Homeland Grocery store for many years and enjoyed working with his co-workers and meeting new faces. He was a hard working man who refused to slow down. Bobby was dedicated to his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid hot wheel collector and loved getting the chance to show them off. He enjoyed cooking and baking and trying out new recipes. He cherished every moment he could to gather and have family dinners. Holidays were his favorite times and he loved decorating for the occasion. Bobby carried many titles but he was best known as “Poppy.” The love his family has for him will last forever and he will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Commazelle Marie Wilbourn; his sister, Virginia “Ginger” Coulter and his brothers Eugene and J.R. Wilbourn. Survivors include his wife Bonnie Wilbourn of Shawnee; His children Lisa Rzany and Lance Pearson of Shawnee, Ok, Michelle and Scott Brady of Shawnee, Ok, Steven McLellan of Franklin, Tn, and Sandy McLellan of Henryetta, Ok; His grandchildren Summer Harris of Shawnee, Ok, Michaela Wilbourn and Ghage Speck of Shawnee, Ok, Carlie Brady of Shawnee, Ok, Zac McLellan of Seattle, Wa, Olivia McLellan of Seattle, Wa, and Mason McLellan of Nashville, Tn; his Great grandchildren Teagan and Dawson of Shawnee, Ok; two brothers, Randy Wilbourn and Sherry of Claremore, Ok, and Bruce Wilbourn of Seminole, Ok and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be: Mark Blanchard, Darren Boughen, Ghage Speck, Scott Brady, Lance Pearson and Brian Collett. Services will be held at Walker Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Guy Cagle officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Shawnee, Ok.
