Carlis Arthur Riddle

Carlis Arthur Riddle, resident of Shawnee, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. He was 86 years old. Carlis was born on September 7, 1935 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to his parents, Walker C. and Flossie Riddle. Carlis worked as a mechanic, a water well service man, and owned his own farming business. In 1962, he married Kathy Wright. He enjoyed fixing things and watching John Wayne movies as well as The American Pickers. He was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Riddle, sons, John Riddle and Gery Monk, brothers, Garry Riddle and Kenny Riddle, sister, Francis Riddle, granddaughter, Jessica Barber, and grandson, Brian Stancell. Carlis is survived by his son, Joe Riddle, daughters, Barbra Hayes and husband Gary, Louann Barber and husband Keith, Rebekah Hooker and husband Waylon, Deborah Smith and husband Jeremy, and Dara Badger and husband Curtis, sister, Barbara Fincher, brothers, Clifford Riddle and wife Debbie, and Boyd Riddle and wife, Charlotte, 23 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:00 am at Dolberg Cemetery in Roff, Oklahoma. Viewing will be held at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, February 10th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Casketbearers will be: Joe Riddle, Waylon Hooker, Jeremy Smith, Jake Barber, David Riddle, and James Riddle. Honorary Casketbearers will be: Randy Riddle, Keith Barber, Curtis Badger, and Zachary Cook. Carlis loved his family, especially his grandchildren and will be missed dearly.
