Carol Joy Flowers

Carol Joy (Hall) Flowers was born December 6, 1928, to Ralph and Bessie (Wilson) Hall in Jacktown. Carol passed from this life on December 22, 2023. She attended school and was a proud 1947 graduate at White Rock near Jacktown, OK. She married R.T. Flowers on May 22nd, 1947 and spent the next 13 years traveling the western United States, working in a cannery, and caring for her family while R.T. worked pipelines and construction.

In 1960, they returned home to work alongside R.T.'s parents (Frank and Daucy) on the family dairy farm. Later they milked with Carol's parents and bought that dairy farm in 1971. They farmed and raised their family until 1987 when they retired on the family homestead in Jacktown.

She was preceded in death by her son Marshall Lynn Flowers, granddaughter Annie Morris, husband R.T. Flowers, sister Joann Laughlin, and brother Eddie Hall.

She is survived by her son Gary Dale Flowers and his wife Paula, daughter-in-law Joyce, daughter Terri Morris and her husband Howard, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service. A private family service will be held.
