Carol Ann Geisler of Shawnee, OK, passed away on May 10, 2019 in Oklahoma City.
Carol, the daughter of Verlin and Thelma (Rose) Geisler, was born August 7, 1954 in Oklahoma City. Carol attended school in McLoud, but transferred her senior year to Carl Albert High School in Midwest City where she graduated with the class of 1972. She retired from St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee, having worked for 33 years in the I.C.U. as a secretary. Carol used sign language at the different churches she attended as a means of ministry. She was active at Metro Church in Edmond where she performed as a mime as well as roles in their dramatic performance “The Presentation of the Bride”. Carol was always active in church having attended Metro Church and then in Shawnee the churches, Living Word and Grace Center.
Carol was preceded in death by her grandparents and her parents.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Miller; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Debbie Geisler; half-sister, Dorothy Pagano; nephews and nieces, Jesse Rodriguez, Johnny Rodriguez, Chris Geisler, Nick Geisler, Matt Geisler, Caty Harris, and McKenzie Geisler; and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Life Church in Shawnee, with Pastor Ian Brown officiating.
