Carolyn Gay Stacy

Shawnee resident Carolyn Gay Stacy, 80, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 in Shawnee.

A memorial ceremony will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Walker Funeral Chapel.

Carolyn was born May 31, 1943 in Bowlegs, Oklahoma to Thomas Samuel Neal and Edith Inez (Risenhover) Neal. She worked most of her career in the grocery business at several local grocery stores.  She enjoyed reading, dancing, and visiting with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Don and Tommy Neal, and a sister, Pat Blakley.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Stacy of the home, 3 daughters, Kelly Liddell and partner Jan Stone of Shawnee, Kim Scalf of Shawnee, and Neeka Stacy of Enid, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Sandy Duncan and husband Clayton of Norman, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
