Catherine Lynn Simmons

Catherine Lynn Simmons, Shawnee resident, age 51, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022. She was born July 26, 1971 to James and Charlotte (Erickson) Oliver. She worked as shift lead at Love's Country Store and Travel Stops. On October 5, 2014 she married her best friend, Robert Simmons. Catherine was very proud of her computer programming degree. She would always take the time to listen to others whether she was hurting or not. Her hugs were priceless and given to others at always the right moment. Preceded in death by: son Brendon, sister, and parents. Survivors: husband Robert Simmons, daughter Chelsey Shepardson, both of Shawnee, OK, brother Chris Oliver of Alabama, uncle Dean Erickson of Wyoming.
