She is survived by her children, daughter and son-in-law Pam and Terry O’Rorke, son and daughter-in-law David and Carolyn Buckmaster, daughter and son-in-law Julana and Reggie States, daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Joseph Siragusa, and son and daughter-in-law Scott and Christina Lynch, grandchildren, Brandon and Crystal O’Rorke, Ryan and Leah O’Rorke, Aaron O’Rorke, Bryan States, Kyle and Amy States, Cody States, Michael Buckmaster, Kara Sharp, Dominica Siragusa, Michael Siragusa and Dylan Lynch, 13 great grandchildren, lifelong friend Joqueta Wilson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charlene’s greatest joy was her family, from raising her children, teaching her children and grandchildren, attending sporting events and dance recitals, and hosting large holiday gatherings at her home. She also enjoyed collecting frogs and dolls; cooking her favorite dishes for others; watching movies with her grandchildren; spending time at Lake Tenkiller with her family and friends; traveling with her family; and keeping up with friends and family on her IPad. She was blessed with a green thumb and loved her plants.

She was laid to rest April 20, 2020 at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery. While the family was unable to have a traditional service due to the Covid 19 virus, her family and friends celebrated her life at a large and lavish 80th birthday celebration in October, 2019 where Charlene and Joqueta entertained guests with tell-tell stories of their youth.

Her family would like to extend gratitude to the staff at Colonial Estates Nursing Home and Physicians Choice Hospice for their compassion and excellent care.
