Charles Campbell

Charles Roy Campbell, 74, of Shawnee, died Sunday, July 16, 2017 in a Midwest City hospital.Services will be 10:00 a.m.  Monday, July 24, 2017 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel.  Burial will follow in Tecumseh Cemetery.  Charles was born May 21, 1943 in Hartshorne, OK to James Elbert & Alma Janie (Suter) Campbell. He worked in maintenance at Houck Ford, Shawnee, Worthington Pump and TDK, as well as working for contractors at Tinker Field, and going on trail rides and wagons with Cecil Bernard and Gary Blocker.  On July 20, 1973 he married Lousetta (Spriggs) Campbell.  He served with the U.S. Army during Viet Nam, and was a lifetime member of National Rifleman Association and VFW.He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Elly Mae Poindexter, 2 brothers: Bill & Jim Campbell, and a niece: Mary Ballard Charles is survived by his Wife: Lousetta (Lucy) Campbell; Daughter: Charlotte Lynn Campbell; Son: Charles E. (Chucke) Campbell; Grandson: Dylan Remick; Brothers & Sisters-in-Law: Bob & Barbara Campbell, and Leon & Sherrie Campbell; Sister & Brother-in-Law: Marie & Clarence Sensibaugh;  Sister-in-Law: Doreen Meyer; and many, many other family members and friends.
